Preliminary Evaluation

For the preliminary task I designed a front cover and sketched a contents page for a college magazine. I used a student in my class to be on the front page. I cut out the image of the student using Photoshop and then edited and designed the magazine in InDesign. I have learnt to use more than one colour on my front cover because at first when I designed the cover I only used one colour and it looked quite boring. I have also realised that using lots of different fonts and sizes draws the attention to the audience and makes the magazine look more interesting and fun. I found it quite difficult to decide how to lay out the magazine but at the same time I found using Photoshop and InDesign very easy and simple.
