Oliver Duffy Music Magazine

The project which I have chosen to do is the Music Magazine. I have chosen this option as I believe I will work better on my own than with a group as I will only have to rely on myself and not on others. 

The genre of music for the magazine which I am going to do is Hip-Hop. The target audience for this magazine will be late teenagers and young adults - people interested in the Hip-Hop genre. I have researched on the internet for other similar products and have found a magazine called "VIBE" and an online magazine called "Rago". I will be looking closely at these magazines and also other magazines to help create and design my own. 

USP

Many rap magazines are available in America but in the UK there aren't many magazines available, so this is an opportunity to make a new edition to the shops that is something different as it will be completely dedicated to rap.  This will make more people want to buy this style of magazine because people who are interested in rap currently don't have a magazine which they can purchase in the UK.
